There is no better time than now to join the Evansville Chapter of the
Construction Specifications Institute. Our members include architects,
specifiers, contractors, engineers, building owners, facility managers,
municipal employees, product representatives and construction news vendors.
All of these disciplines come together to share information through the
CSI.
You may already be familiar the CSI MasterFormat™, which recently
has been expanded from 16 divisions to 50. This publication, along with
other technical publications like The Project Resource Manual will help
you create and use clear documentation and communication.
The Evansville Chapter CSI offers you the unique opportunity to network
with construction professionals at our monthly meetings. Most meetings
are held at the Evansville Executive Inn. However, we often tour recently
completed buildings, construction job sites or unique architecture in our
area, such as the upcoming French Lick Springs Casino this summer. Meetings
will keep you abreast of the latest building or design techniques, laws
and codes, and specification techniques. Visit this websites Events Page
for upcoming meeting times and dates.
The Evansville Chapter CSI gives you a chance to hone your expertise through
the Construction Document Technology (CDT) and CSI Certification Program.
See the Certification page for details. In addition, AIA members are offered
continuing education credits for attending monthly meetings.
In addition to all the great benefits Evansville Chapter CSI members enjoy,
we also have a great time when were together. We are a vibrant and important
part of the Construction Community in Evansville, IN and we invite you
to be part of this!
So what are you waiting for? All you have to do is contact me at mikevannatter@sigecom.net or any Evansville Chapter CSI member listed on the Roster page or log on
to www.csinet.org for on-line membership application.
Institute dues are only $ 210.00 per year and include a subscription
to the official CSI magazine The Construction Specifier. Evansville
Chapter
dues are $ 85.00 and include all meals to meetings at the Evansville
Executive Inn.
See you at the next meeting!
